The first speaker of the day was Bruce Crawford MSP


who spoke about housing policy in the Scottish Government and what this would mean, at a more local level.
Tony Cain, Head of Housing, John MacMillan, Service Manager, Technical Services and Simone Greenshaw, Homelessness Service Manager were the other speakers.

Carol Hamilton

gave an update from tenant services and responded to issues that had been raised by tenants at the February tenants conference.

Tony Cain

introduced himself as the new Head of Housing and shared his thoughts on the future of Council housing in Stirling.

Jamie Ballantine from TPAS

gave a presentation on tenant participation in Stirling. Highlighting the influence that the repairs group and Tenant Led inspections have had. Also highlighted that a range of TP methods are required and that this is being taken into account in the New review of the Tenant Participation strategy.
